Scientists and legal experts discussed cybersecurity issues at National Research University "MIET"

"More than a hundred scientists and specialists in the field of law and technical fields met at the II International Scientific and Practical Conference "High-Tech Law: Genesis and Prospects. The participants discussed the most serious cyberthreats of the present time and evaluated the available methods to counter them.

As well as at the 2020 conference, the guests of honor were Anatoly Kustov, Doctor of Law, Honored Lawyer of Russia; Igor Komarov, Head of Forensic Science Department of Moscow State University, Professor, Alexander Shatalov, Doctor of Law, Professor of Academy of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation and others. In the first part of the conference, presentations were also made by Sergei Timoshenkov, director of the Institute of Nano- and Microsystems Engineering of Moscow Institute of Electronic Technology, and Larisa Gagarina, director of the Institute of System and Software Engineering and Information Technology of Moscow Institute of Electronic Technology, and by Sergey Nikitin and Daniil Zakharov, information security experts from Group-IB.

Other speakers included Ani Aslanyan, founder of the @blockchainrf telegram channel, Vladimir Syrchin, chief specialist of ANKAD, Raisa Bogacheva, project manager of the Neurobotics Group (with the topic " To the question of responsibility for crimes committed with the involvement of robots"), and, of course, students of the Law Department of Moscow Institute of Electronic Technology. Legal Institute of Krasnoyarsk State Agrarian University became a partner of the conference.
